Dominica Lord-Wood has been a craftswoman for many years. As a young woman, she made leather goods, crocheted work and patchwork pillows.
While pursing a master's degree in cultural anthropology, Dominica became fascinated with the relationship between women, culture and traditional arts. She began using a floor loom for handweaving because this felt like an important part of her own cultural heritage.
